He specializes in digital asset accounting, blockchain transaction analysis, cryptocurrency reporting, and understanding the nuances of the latest defi protocol.
With more than twenty years of experience in financial leadership roles ranging from Controller to CFO and COO, Sean has guided organizations through corporate change initiatives, systems development, operational improvements, and complex startup environments. Upon being introduced to Bitcoin in 2016, he developed a sustained commitment to understanding the technological, economic, and regulatory implications of blockchain and distributed ledger technology.
Beyond his work with Masotti & Masotti, Sean is the Founder of CEOClaw, LLC, an AI operations and infrastructure firm serving professional services organizations. He is also Co-Founder of MM Blockchain Academy (MMBA), an accredited education platform delivering blockchain-focused continuing professional education (CPE) courses and certifications to accounting professionals and students nationwide, and Co-Founder of Main and Meta, Inc., the parent company of AvenueD, Student Center, and dPlaza, a suite of Web3-native platforms serving businesses, educational institutions, and communities.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Accounting from Baker College. He holds the MMBA CBAP [Certified Bitcoin Accounting Professional] and certifications as a Certified Blockchain Expert (CBE), Certified Blockchain and Supply Chain Professional, Certified Hyperledger Developer (CHD), Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP), and Linux Foundation certifications in Hyperledger Technologies
